Life in Japan

From Japanese Language School to International Hotel Management

At the age of 19, I embarked on an exhilarating adventure in Japan. My path led me first to a Japanese language school, where I immersed myself for one and a half years. The language, culture, and vibrant streets of Japan became my daily companions.

Subsequently, I delved into the world of International Hotel Management at a prestigious business college. My commitment to excellence bore fruit when I secured a coveted top-three position in my school, earning the esteemed Jasso scholarship that covered my life fees. This achievement fueled my determination to excel further.

During my educational journey, I donned various hats—working at different restaurants, absorbing firsthand knowledge of hospitality and service. My proactive mindset, coupled with a keen sense of self-awareness, allowed me to navigate challenges with grace and adaptability.

Moved to Taiwan

A Commitment to Global Business Management

Upon the conferment of a full tuition scholarship by Yuan Ze University, I relocated to Taiwan to undertake a Bachelor of Business Administration. This degree program was conducted exclusively in the English language. I specialized in Global Business Management, with additional academic pursuits in International Finance Management and Marketing, both of which I undertook as minors.

In recognition of my academic diligence, I attained the second-highest rank in my cohort, reflected in a GPA of 95.21 out of 100. My tenure at the university was marked by active engagement in numerous projects and campaigns, with a particular focus on ESGs, market research and the development of marketing strategies.

Personality

Adaptability, fast learning, and problem-solving are my key strengths. I have a passion for researching and exploring, but I am aware that my introverted nature may limit networking opportunities. However, I am actively working on improving in this area. While my previous experience has been centered around the F&B industry, I believe there is significant potential in other industries in term of global market development. Nonetheless, I am aware that breaking into a new industry might present challenges for me, and the language barrier in Taiwan could potentially hinder local expansion.

INTROVERTED, INTUITIVE, THINKING, JUDGING
